The COVID-19 situation forced the NVVI (Dutch Association for Immunology) to abandon their annual physical meeting in Noordwijkerhout. However, to continue the tradition of a lively and interactive NVVI meeting, a digital NVVI Annual Meeting was organized. This digital meeting included many of the most important elements of their physical meeting: Top key-note speakers, the Van Loghem lecture, a Bright sparks session, video presentations and e-poster sessions.

The programme included:

live Q&A sessions
20 x pre-recorded parallel sessions consisting of 4 presentations per session
120 e-poster presentations spread over two days
6 participants in the sponsor lounge
500 participants

Odette Organises provided the virtual event platform and was responsible for:

participant registration
abstract handling
event website
setup of the live & pre-recorded sessions
coordination of the sponsor lounge.

In addition, Odette acted as director of this 100% online two-day meeting.
